Although he has a lifetime association with Grand Rapids Marine, Mike began full-time employment in 2002 and later purchased the business from his father in 2016. Mike is a factory trained outboard and sterndrive technician, which really benefits customers who have technical questions about the boat or motor they purchase. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and working on projects around the house.

Debbie has been a great/model employee who started back in October of 2001, and in her free time enjoys camping, fishing, biking, hiking, skiing and taking her dog for walks. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids whenever she is not enjoying the outdoors.

Bill joined the team in the spring of 2020 and has been a great asset to the company. Bill has grown up on the lake at his family home on Pokegama so he knows the joy of boating with friends and family. Bill has extensive knowledge of boats, pontoons, docks and lifts along with spas and boats parts & accessories to help with your purchase. His favorite part of the job is being able to help a customer from start to finish with their lakeshore dreams and guide them through the buying process!

Before wetting a line on the fishing opener, before the pontoon cruise on a languid summer evening, it's the crew behind the scenes who set up the scene for you. Under the leadership of manager Justin Meyer, who has been doing dock work in Itasca County for 17 years, the dock crew at GRMC assemble, install, and remove docks and lifts all over the area. Their familiarity with area lakes and the extra efficiency of our new hydraulic barge help them make swift work of your project.

Luke joined the team in 2015 initially as a detailer which he excelled at. He later asked to join the dock crew but after only 1 season we were able to coerce him into the service advisor role after noticing his attention to detail and customer service skills. Now our lead service advisor, Luke has learned many parts of the business and the service team enjoys working under his leadership.

Dan joined full time spring of 2020 but had been part time in our parts, dock and detailing departments over the years so he has learned many attributes of the business. His excellent customer service skills have allowed him to help assist Luke in the service department since that has grown and needed additional help with Tom Lawson's stepping back.

Tom joined the team in 2016 and instantly took our service department to the next level. His unmatched experience and highest level of customer service brought and kept boatloads of new customers to Grand Rapids Marine. Now semi-retired, Tom is going to step back from his service advisor role and help out where needed as long as it doesn't cut into his fishing and hunting time.

Zach joined the team in 2016 initially on the dock crew. Over the years his mechanic skills became apparent so he started out in the rigging department and after attending factory training has now joined the service technician team.

Luke joined our service team in 2016 and had several years of mechanical experience. Luke is constantly working hard and has grown into an excellent marine technician. He enjoys joking around with the team until it leads to unwelcomed hands in his toolbox.

Seth joined the team in 2020 but has had prior experience at another marine dealer. We instantly noticed his great skills, speed and attention to detail. Seth loves to fish which translates into great enthusiasm when setting up customers boats with electronics.

Lyle started in 2021 by helping with the remodeling of our new location. Lyle brings a wide variety of skills that he puts to work in his custom boat rigs for our customers. Lyle enjoys new challenges, the outdoors and spending time with his girls and small farm of animals.

Jake started in March of 2024 and will be rigging boats as his main occupation however he is a hard worker and willing to do to work anywhere and anything as long as his feet are moving

Glen has been hauling boats with us for quite some time. He is very outgoing; smile is contagious and very experienced with driving. If you see him on the road driving be sure to give him a wave and he'll be waving back to you!

Bill is new to Grand Rapids Marine but has many years of marine technician experience in MN. New to the area, Bill is quickly fitting in with the team and is doing a great job!

Jake started in 2023 with experience in the automotive parts industry so he was quick to learn. Jake enjoys serenading the parts department trying to convince us he should be on The Voice TV show.

Kalvin is new to our parts department but is friendly and happy to help all while challenging Jake in why he should be a better choice for The Voice TV show.

Bob started in 2023 joining Justin and the dock crew. He enjoys being on the water and spending time with his family.
