Bob Holmstrom: Owner/Sales Bob purchased Mornes Marine in 1978.  He then renamed the business Grand Rapids Marine.  Over the years he has grown the business and established many long time friendships with customers and employees. Still working too much, Bob enjoys visiting with customers, golfing with his wife Karen and spending time with his grandchildren. Email Bob

Mike Holmstrom: Owner/Sales Although he has a lifetime association with Grand Rapids Marine, Mike began full-time employment in 2002. Mike is a factory trained outboard and sterndrive technician which really benefits customers who have mechanical questions about the boat or motor they purchase. In his freetime he enjoys  riding his Harley, cruising the lake or riding snowmobile. Email Mike

Jim Stacklie: Sales Jim is our newest addition. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Jim seems to know a good portion of the community from his years of playing hockey for the Grand Rapids Indians in the 70's when Grand Rapids was a force to be reckoned with! Jim enjoys spending time with his family and being by the water at his lake home on Pokegama. Email Jim

Debbie Howg: Secretary/Accounting

Debbie joined Grand Rapids Marine in 2001. Debbie is always greeting new and current valued customers with a big smile. She and her family enjoy hunting, fishing and camping.

Russ began his service w/ Grand Rapids Marine in 1993. He has achieved the highest industry ratings in customer service specializing in Mercury, Mercruiser and is Mercury certified and Mercruiser certified. Russ particularly enjoys custom rigging of new boats.

Rick Doty: Service Technician

You'll have to look hard to find Rick! He'll be found inside a boat or working on his favorite Johnson/Evinrude outboard motor. Rick has over 30 years experience in outboard motor repair and has been a great asset in the service shop since 2001.

Red Gottschalk: Service Technician

Red is our newest edition to our service department. Although he's the newest, that doesn't mean he has the least experience! It's hard to find a good marine technician these days so we got lucky when we were able to team up with a technician that has over 30 years of experience! Red enjoys working on everything but his specialty is Yamaha outboard motors. Red is a certified Yamaha technician.

Kristen Phillipp - Parts Technician

Kristen is new to Grand Rapids Marine in 2011.  She has become super proficient at providing both parts and service to our valued customers, and does so with a great attitude and a friendly disposition.  Certainly a great addition to our staff.  In her free time, Kristen enjoys target shooting, 4 wheeling, reading, and spending time with her young son , Ian.
